Six Shooter Coffee, a roaster and shop; approached me in 2018 to come up with a design for a raglan tee. Nothing more, nothing less. Owner Peter Brown was so thrilled the results of that, he quickly demanded we expand on that into a full-on re-brand for Six Shooter. The whole deal. Logo. Cold brew can designs. Social media content. Roast packaging. This all came with a challenge I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into: Taking a brand that had named itself after an antique gun and re-framing Six Shooter visually for what it actually was: light years from malicious, community-oriented, approachable and responsible.
Mission accomplished.

About a year later, they moved their shop down the street to a larger, more spacious location; and Peter presented me a new opportunity to continue to flesh out the brand: interior design. I took no time to design “the pink wall” which was a chance to spin Six Shooter’s “cowboy coffee” basis of inspiration into a “Nickelodeon Western” vibe. Meshing the brand color palette with some more 90s inspired colors really began to take the space to a different place. Offsetting that with an earth-toned mural and sturdier menu graphics on opposite walls yielded an entirely different and brighter space.

I’m extremely proud and grateful for the folks at Six Shooter for trusting me to take some risks and put enough of my fingerprint on all aspects of their operation while still giving them art and design that speaks directly to what they are about as a brand. I also hope that the passion I have for this nectar that I drink 8-12 cups of daily come through in the work.
